An App That You Would Be Crazy To Travel Without.

A little change of pace today on the folderprinters.com blog. I thought I would start a new type of blog post, one that focuses on great resources for design, sales and marketing professionals.

Last week one of our staff members was using an online application which sparked a conversation with another staff member that lead me to an amazing app, an app that you would be crazy to travel without. This app developed by Quest Visual, is called “Word Lens".

Word Lens is what is known as a visual translator. This visual translator works with both iOS and Android devices and can be purchased through both iTunes and Google play. Word Lens is so simple to use, once you download the app, all you have to do is launch the app and point the camera of your smart phone at the text you need translated.  Word Lens does the rest in about a second and without a network. That's right, no network needed!

At this time Word Lens translates the following languages with more to come. These languages are:

• English ⇆ Portuguese
• English ⇆ German
• English ⇆ Italian
• English ⇆ French

So, if you do a lot of business travel outside the US, then this is an app that you would be crazy to travel without.
